Former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi and former Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba have debunked reports that they are both out of the presidential race for the All Progressives Congress(APC) presidential ticket.

ThisNigeria reported former Kano State Governor, Kabiru Gaya disclosed that the aspirants in the presidential race have been trimmed down to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Reacting to Gaya’s statement, both Former Ministers dismissed the news as false and assured that they were still in the race to contest for the presidential ticket.

ThisNigeria reported that Amaechi is on a five-man listed submitted for consideration fo President Muhammadu Buhari by APC Northern Governors on Tuesday.
