ASUU strike: Stakeholders plead for prompt intervention

Stakeholders have appealed for urgent intervention on the ongoing students of higher institutions protests which are now affecting socio-economic activities across the country.

A motorist coming from Lagos to Ikare, Ondo state, Abiodun Laisisi narrated his ordeals at Akure when the road was barricaded by irate students.

He called on the government and ASUU to resolve their differences for the sake of students and their parents.
An educationist, Alhaji Bakai Momodu urged the two parties to return to negotiating tables in order to facilitate a harmonious resolution of the impasse.
