The Federal Government has announced that autogas would be dispensed into automobiles by the end of September this year.
The National Gas Expansion Programme has been assigned by the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources to implement the distribution. The autogas to be dispensed include Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Compressed Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas, and would depend on the vehicle to be dispensed into.
Gas is billed to replace fuel and reduce dependence on imported fuel.
