Ledisi Kote, a nineteen-year-old lad who impregnated a teenage girl in Gokana LGA in Rivers State, was shot in the leg by a policeman and is currently receiving treatment.
The unnamed policeman has been detained and disarmed by the Rivers State Police Command. Nnamdi Omoni, the Police PRO of the state, stated that the policeman is in the custody of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.
The disarmed policeman was originally attached to Kpor Division.
