Bandits Kidnap Monarch, 4 Children In Zamfara.

Bandits have launched another attack in Matseri town of Anka local government area killing one person and abducting , district head Alhaji Halilu Tudun Matseri and his four children.
The person killed Malam Maigaiya Matseri was on rescue mission of the district head when the bandits fired him.
Confirming the incident, Emir of Anka, who is also the Chairman, Zamfara state council of Chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Ahmed said the bandits went to the town early morning of today and whisked away the district head and his children.
The Emir prayed for safe return of the kidnapped district head and his children, urging the security agents to redouble efforts in the fight against banditry in the state.
An indigene of the town, Malam Mohammed Musa stated that, the bandits who came to the town on motorcycles around 2 o’clock am of today didn’t touch anybody except the district head and his family.
“They came on motorcycles and went straight to the district head’s house where they kidnapped him and his four children.”
Musa lamented that, the inhabitants have been series of attacks from the bandits overtime.
