Mohammed Alhassan Sadiq, the Commissioner of Commerce and Industry in Bauchi State, has officially stepped down from his office.
He cited irreconcilable differences with the State governor, Bala Mohammed, as a factor, and he has defected to the All Progressive Congress Party to liaise with Yakubu Dogara. This seems to be a repeat of an incident in 2018 when he left APC for PDP because of a face-off with the then governor, Mohammed Abubakar.
His resignation was posted on Facebook on Wednesday night.
