The Senator representing Adamawa Central senatorial district in the Assembly Aishat Binani has been declared the winner of the APC primaries in Adamawa state defeating Nuhu Ribadu, and former Gov Bindow Jibrilla.

Binani was declared the winner of the primary in Yola, Adamawa on Friday.

The senator pulled 430 votes in the primary election defeating Ribadu who had 288 votes with former gov Bindow Jibrilla in third place with 103 votes.

Binani was the only female aspirant of the  APC contesting the primary of the state.
