Board of FERMA, others get Senate’s nod

The appointments of the board of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) and the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities, among others, have received the nod of the Senate.
This is sequel to the request of President Muhammad Buhari that the Senate do consider the appointments and confirmation of the nominees into the boards.
The Senate in the committee of the House considered the reports of its relevant committees on the President’s request and confirmed the nomination Engr. Ifeanyi Christian Kammelu, Muhammad Gambo Bizi and Prof. Abubakar Ismail as executive directors of FERMA as well as the appointments of Dr. Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa as chairman and six others as members respectively of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities.
Members of the commission for persons with disabilities include Oparaku Onyejelam Jana; Philomena Isioma Konwea;Omopariola Busuyi Oluwasola; Amina Rahman Audi; Mrs. Esther Andrew Awu and Abba Audu Ibrahim.
