Iloakasi Orji, the new Chairman of Rangers International FC Supporters Club, has promised that his administration would carry everybody along to ensure unity and progress.
Orji, a medical practitioner at Enugu State University of Science and Technology Teaching Hospital (ESUT), made this promise in Enugu on Wednesday.
The new chairman came on board following the club’s election conducted at their secretariat at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
Orji said his first assignment would be to reconcile all aggrieved members, noting that the club cannot make any meaningful headway in an atmosphere of disunity or a divided house.
“The first thing I am going to do is to reunite all aggrieved members of this club, to bring everybody together so that we can have a big united family.
“Secondly, my dream is to see our darling team Rangers International FC of Enugu win at least a trophy during my tenure,” he said.
The Supporters Club Chairman promised to build on the success recorded by the outgoing executive committee led by Ibuchukwu Nwodo.
He appealed to Rangers fans and supporters across the globe not to relent in drumming support for the club.
The club’s outgoing Chairman, Nwodo, expressed satisfaction with the Electoral Committee for conducting a transparent election devoid of rancour and acrimony.
Nwodo served as the Special Adviser to Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State on Rangers Matters during his tenure.

He applauded members for the discipline and maturity they exhibited during the exercise.

Other elected members include Gabriel Onyearizo who emerged as the National Secretary and Romanus Udeh as the National Organising Secretary.
