The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun Command, says it has put in place a robust security arrangement and crimes prevention strategies to ensure a crime-free Christmas celebration in the state.
The corps State Commandant, Emmanuel Ocheja, said that his officers had been deployed on major roads in the state and across worship centres.
“Officers and men are already emplaced on the major roads across the state.
“Patrol teams and surveillance squads will also cover places of worship, public places and recreation centres throughout the period of celebrations,” Ocheja said.
The commandant urged the public to propagate peace, demonstrate love and tolerance with fellow citizens, irrespective of religious affiliations.

He, however, enjoined members of the public to be security-conscious and readily provide useful information to relevant security agencies.
