Omokri, a former presidential aide, advised that Nigerians may be forced to seek self-help if the government ignores their outcry.

In a post made on his X account, Omokri wrote, “A British primary school that charges ₦42 million per year and a Chinese supermarket that discriminates against Nigerians? Nigerian regulatory agencies, like the Ministry of Labour, Justice Ministry and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, are allowing these foreigners to get away in Nigeria with what they cannot do in their own countries.
“Can any primary school in Enfield charge such an exploitative fee of $42,000 yearly? The British authorities will step in to intervene in such a situation. Which Nigerian will dare open a black-only shop in China? Their government will not jail you. They will execute you.
“If the Federal, State and FCT governments do not act to put an end to this outrageous situations, citizens may be forced to take action. And nobody wants that. Sanwoolu and Wike ought to take decisive action in Lagos and the FCT. Nigerians are watching them, and we will remember what they did or did not do when we face such economic and social injustices from foreigners in their domains”
