The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Governor-elect of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has rolled out a list of 80 man list of transition committee members for his swearing-in on March 17, 2022.
Prof. Soludo and his deputy governor-elect, Dr. Onyekachi Obezim are to be sworn in same to take over the reins of power from outgoing Governor Willie Obiano and his Deputy Chief Nkem Okeke.
According to a statement by Soludo’s media aide, Joe Anatune, and made available to newsmen in Awka the state capital, the members of the transition committee include prominent Nigerians with strategic roles for a smooth assumption of office as next Governor of the state.
Among those to oversee Soludo’s inauguration are former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili who will head the committee, Prof Benedith Oramah, Prof Pat Utomi, and Mr. Osita Chidika
The Anambra 2022 Governorship Transition Committee is to liaise with a team set up by the State Government to ensure a seamless transition from Governor Willie Obiano’s administration to a Chukwuma Charles Soludo-led administration from 17th March 2022.

Anatune said the full Terms of reference for the Committee as well as its mode of operation would be communicated during the inauguration/first plenary sessions scheduled for 19- 22nd January 2022 at the Golden Tulip (Agulu Lake) Hotel, Anambra State.
Other members of the committee include: Prof. Benedict Okey Oramah, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor Prof. Pat Utomi, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu Mr. Steve Nworga, Chief Osita Chidoka, Hon (Dr) Ben Nwankwo, and several others
