Embattled former Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris has been remanded to prison alongside two others by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, pending conclusions on their bail application.
The judge presiding over the case, Justice J. O. Adeyemi-Ajayi gave the order in Abuja on Friday.
This is following the not guilty plea made by Idris alongside Godfrey Olusegun Akindele and Mohammed Kudu Usman in the 14-count charge in which they are accused of diverting about N109billion public funds.
