Court sentences Adedoyin to death over murder of OAU student

A court sitting in Osun state has sentenced Businessman Ramon Adedoyin to death by hanging for the murder of a student of Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU),Timothy Adegoke.
Recall that Adedoyin was arrested by the Osun police command after Adegoke was murdered in an hotel owned by the businessman in 2021.
Adegoke was a Chattered Accountant pursuing his Masters of Business Administration at the Obafemi Awolowo University before his death.
The deceased, a father of two, who hails from Oyo state had booked a room at Adedoyin’s hotel in preparation for his maters exam.
However, he suddenly became unreacheable after checking into the hotel.

His body was later found in a shallow grave close to the hotel by the police.
In a judgement delivered by Justice Adepele Ojo, Adedoyin was found guilty of the murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by hanging as punishment for his crime.
Ojo also ruled that the children of the deceased be trained to university level with the estate owned by Adedoyin.
