First Republic politician, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai has stated the reason why regional system of governnent can’t help Nigeria.

Yakasai, while speaking at an event in Lagos on Thursday, said that the current situation of the country cannot be corrected by the regional system of government.

“I believe the country’s precarious situation cannot be corrected by the regional system of government. Regional system of government can’t help Nigeria at this point.”

“We should do away with the present system of government prone to waste, corruption, among others,” He said.
