Eagles move two places up in latest FIFA ranking

Despite their failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Super Eagles have moved up two places to 30th in the latest ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) yesterday.

The three-time African champions were ranked 32nd in the previous month.

The Super Eagles also maintained the third position on the continent.

Senegal maintained the top position in Africa, with the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the second position.

The Pharaohs of Egypt are fourth, while the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia are in the fifth position.

The Black Stars of Ghana, who stopped the Super Eagles from the world cup are ranked 61 in the world and 11th in Africa.
