The much-awaited reaction by Comrade Adams Oshiomjole to last Saturday’s governorship election in Edo has been given via a video clip.
Oshiomhole’s reaction to outcome of Edo election: “In life, you win some and you lose some, we must have faith in God and country, and move on”
Conceding defeat, Oshiomhole, who was upbeat, said it was time to move on.
Oshiomhole supported and vigorously campaigned for APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the election.
In the video, apparently shot in a fitness centre, he thanked all those, including elderly women, who made efforts to vote despite challenges.
He said contrary to what many thought that he was down, he was not down, adding “once God says you are not down, you are not down, and I am not down.”
