The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a former Governor of Abia State and current Senator, Sen. Theodore Orji.
According to reports, Orji was arrested at the Nnamdi International Airport, Abuja on Thursday.
The Senator has been under investigation for alleged misappropriation of public funds and money laundering.

He was alleged to have mismanaged the N2 billion Ecological Fund and mismanagement of Sure-P funds.
Theodore Orji was also alleged to have received N500 million monthly as a security vote for eight years as governor of Abia State between 2007 and 2015.
