EID MAULUD: FRSC Deploys ‘Rescue Teams’ Nationwide

Following the unpredicted security situation which could hinder vehicular movements along the country’s highways, especially during the celebration of the Eid Maulud, the Federal Road Safety Corps has deployed ‘Rescue Teams’ nationwide
The Corps in a statement issued by Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Education Officer, noted that ‘Rescue teams’ have been put on standby in all FRSC commands across the country to assist those that could be negatively affected by any form of emergencies
Kazeem who quoted the Corps Marshall, Boboye Oyeyemi in an EID MAULUD message where he enjoined the “Muslim faithful to imbibe the examples of Prophet Mohammed”, explained that the FRSC has put in place adequate arrangements to ensure that movements are free , safe and conducive for all , even though that this year’s celebration is expected to be low keyed with less numbers of interstate travelers
Oyeyemi in the message , enjoined the Muslims to emulate the examples of Prophet Muhammad to create the desired peace and tranquillity in the society
According to him, the virtues of the prophet was required at this period of national crisis, pointing that the world requires selfless and committed individuals to promote peaceful coexistence among the peoples of the world.
The Corps Marshal described the celebration of this year’s Eid Maulud at the period of social crisis in Nigeria as an opportunity for all and sundry to reflect over human life, and embrace peace, dialogue and sacrifice to move the nation forward.
He particularly called on all Muslims to use the period of the holiday to pray for harmony, peace and understanding among the people of Nigeria
