Emirates Airlines has announced that it will resume its flight operations to Lagos state effective from September 11, 2022.
The Dubai based airline made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday.
Recall that the airline had recently in a statement announced its intentions to suspend flights to Nigeria effective from September 1, 2022, due to the Nigerian government’s inability to repatriate $85m ticket sales.
The airline operators however made a U-turn and announced its plans to resume flights to the country, although it is yet to be known if the Federal Government has remitted the debt owed.
The airline said “Dear trade partner, we are pleased to inform you that effective from 11 September 2022, we will reinstate our flight.

“Inbound flight from Dubai to Lagos (EK783) and outbound flight from Lagos to Dubai {EK784) will commence from Sunday 11th September 2022.
“Lagos Flight after 30th September will be advised in due course
“EK783/784 DXB-LOS-DXB on days 1,3,5,7 will operate as per schedule below:
“EK783 11SEP22-30SEP22 1_3_5_7 DXB DEP 1020 LOS ARR 1500 77WR
“EK784 11SEP22-30SEP22 1_3_5_7 LOS DEP 1815 DXB ARR 0500+1 77WR
“For tickets affected by the flight suspension, please take note to do the following”.
