#EndSARS: 11-Year Old Caught With Police Uniform In Edo

A teenager was among the hoodlums arrested by the Edo Police Command for allegedly vandalizing a police station during the recent nationwide #EndSARS protests.
The unidentified eleven year old boy who was among the over 100 persons arrested by the police in connection with the protests was with the gang of hoodlums who attacked Police station near the Oba market in Benin city.
The hoodlums had burnt down the facility and carted away arms and ammunition and police uniforms with the teenager laying hold of a police sergeant uniform moments after the incident.
Sources say the out of school boy, wearing the uniform, was seen parading himself as, ‘the Inspector General of Police’ while the protests lasted to the admiration and cheers of many.
He was subsequently arrested and is soon to be arraigned in a juvenile court according to the Edo state Police Command.
