Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has said that he did not know what happened to the camcorder he found at the Lekki Toll Gate in the aftermath of the #EndSARS protests.
Recall that Fashola had during an inspection of the toll gate, in the company of other government officials, found a camcorder which was admitted as evidence.
This was days after the shooting of unarmed protesters by the military occurred at the toll plaza on October 20, 2020.

However, speaking during an interview with Arise News, the minister said that he handed over the device to the Lagos State Government.
“You should not be asking me. You have the tapes showing that I handed it over to the government of Lagos so you have all the recordings. I think your people were there. So don’t ask me what happened to the camera. I don’t know,” he said.
