Esogban of Benin, Chief David Edebiri is dead

According to reports, the deceased died on Thursday a private hospital in Benin after battling with a brief illness.

He was aged 94.

Late chief Edebiri was a prolific journalist and author of several books which include “Tripod of Life: Essence of Benin Tradition and Culture” and “The life and Times of Iyase N’Ohenmwen”.

The books were released in 2022.
