Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed has paid an inspection visit to the scene of the road that links the state with Kano which was cut away by a torrential rainfall on Friday.
Bala while addressing Journalists at the scene on Saturday shortly after the inspection, confirmed that three travellers lost their lives.
He promised to provide palliation and ensure that permanent solution is provided on the affected road linking Bauchi with Kano and other states through Ningi local government area of the state.
The Governor appealed for quick intervention from the federal government in order to ensure permanent solution to the problem.

He said that the state government will provide some palliative measures to cushion the effect of the natural disaster on the citizens.
He said that the state government has directed trihecta construction firm to provide solution to the problem.
