FCT Police Deploys Personnel In Rescue of 5 Kidnap Pegi Residents

The Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has deployed a heavy detachment of personnel and equipment to rescue the five persons kidnapped in the wee hours of Wednesday in a village along the Pegi axis.
The Command urges members of the public to remain calm, while it intensifies effort to liberate the victims unhurt and reunite them with their family members.
The Commissioner of Police FCT CP. Bala Ciroma ordered the manhunt , according to ASP Yusuf Mariam, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Police Command.
While enjoining residents to be security conscious and promptly report all suspicious movements, the Command wishes to reiterate its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property in the Federal Capital Territory.
