Femi Falana withdraws from Mohbad’s case over ‘family disunity’

Human Rights Activist Femi Falana, has reportedly withdrawn from the case of late Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

It was gathered that the reason for the Senior Advocate of Nigeria’s withdrawal is the unending family disputes and contradictory statements.

A recording has surfaced where a man, whose identity remains undisclosed, claimed that Falana’s chamber had been facing prolonged challenges due to the behaviour of the late Mohbad’s family.

The man asserted that the family’s engagements with various media outlets had led to contradictory statements, thereby hindering the progress of seeking justice for the deceased.

Furthermore, it was mentioned in the recording that the family of the late Mohbad, particularly the patriarch Aloba, and his daughter-in-law Wunmi, have been embroiled in a bitter feud.
