FG appoints Prof. Ugboaja as substantive CMD of NAUTH, Nnewi

The federal government has confirmed Associate Professor Joseph Ugboaja as the substantive Chief Medical Director, (CMD) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, Anambra State.
Until his new position, Prof. Ugboaja was the CMD of the hospital in an Acting capacity following his appointment on January 26, 2021.
His appointment came at the expiration of the tenure of the former CMD of the teaching hospital, Prof. Anthony Igwegbe.
Before his appointment, Ugboaja was the former Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) of NAUTH, and also Director of Clinical Services.

He came top in the selection process for a new CMD which included written exams, oral interviews, administrative and academic exercises held fee months ago in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
