Foremost constitutional lawyer, Prof Ben Nwabueze is dead

Former Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide and renowned Constitutional lawyer, Professor Ben Nwabueze, is dead.

He died at the age of 92 years.

Nwabueze was also a former Secretary (Minister) of Education.

Sources close to the legal luminary said that he passed on Sunday evening in his Atani country home in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra state.

Nwabueze, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) was born in 1931, in Atani, Anambra State.
