Former DIG hails Arase for inspiring leadership

The former chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Parry Osayande, on Monday, paid a courtesy visit to the Commission.

During the visit, he praised current Chairman, Solomon Arase, for his inspiring leadership.

Osayande,also a retired Deputy Inspector General of Police, was the one who initiated the construction of the Commission’s Corporate Headquarters building in Jabi, Abuja, 12 years ago.

He expressed his delight at seeing the completion of the project and the naming of the 500 seater auditorium after him.

He said he was proud of the achievements of the Commission under the leadership of Dr. Arase, who is also a retired Inspector General of Police.

He urged the Commission to continue to uphold its mandate of ensuring accountability and professionalism in the Nigeria Police Force.

Responding, Arase, thanked Osayande for his visit and his contributions to the growth of the Commission.

He said he was honoured to have him as a mentor and a role model.
