Four states get N24bn for ranching, says Garba Shehu

The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media, Garba Shehu, has said that the president has extended so far about N24billion for ranching.

The aide made this known on Wednesday while speaking on a television programme saying that Katsina state is not the only state that has been given money for ranching and associated activities but that about N24billion has been given out to about four states for the same reasons.

“Yes, Katsina has been given, but Katsina is not the only state that has been given. So far, about N24billion has been disbursed to about four states for ranching and associated activities.”

Ebonyi, Yobe, and Katsina states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have received N6 billion each for the development of Ranching facilities for Cattle.

“Yobe has been given. Ebonyi has been given and FCT has been given. More than eight other states are now being processed for this payment.
