
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), has released the wife of Kano state Governor, Prof. Hafsat Ganduje, who was recently apprehended for questioning by the agency.
Prof. Hafsat was taken to EFCC headquarters in Abuja on Sunday and interrogated for hours over her involvement in an alleged land scandal following a petition filed against her by first son Abdulzeez Ganduje.
Hafsat according to reports was granted an administrative bill by the EFCC due to her husband’s influence.

The Kano State Governor, Ganduje had followed Dr. Hafsat to the EFCC headquarters and made some kind of bargain with the agency for the release of his wife.
