Give your donations to charity, Governor Okowa’s aide urges Davido

Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to Delta State Governor, has urged Nigerian singer, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido to give out his over N140m birthday donation to the needy.

Success made the call via Facebook on Wednesday.

ThisNigeria reported that Davido garnered over N150m from his friends, associates, after calling them out to gift him N1m each for his birthday.

The singer said he needed the money to clear his brand new Rolls Royce at the port.

Reacting to the unprecedented gesture, Success said there were “people suffering who needed the money the most.”

He wrote: “Davido should donate the over 100m he has gotten to charity, instead of using it to clear his Rolls Royce. A lot of people are suffering out there.”
