It was hell on Monday night in Nnobi, Idemili North local government area of Anambra state as gunmen killed three persons when they stormed the area.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 pm.
A source close to the area said the heavily armed men suspected to be members of a rival secret gang had shot sporadically as they moved from one location to another.
A Facebook user, Maxi Ifedinma had in a post confirmed that the same gunmen had gunned down two people close to Roban Stores, the commercial town of Nnewi.

Ifedinma in his post at about 9 pm said: “the corpse of the dead persons are still lying there now,” in a comment he dropped.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu could not be reached for comments on the incident.
