Hit-and-run saga: Timaya threatens to beat up Ubi Franklin

Nigerian singer, Timaya has threatened to beat up media personality, Ubi Franklin over his comment on the alleged hit-and-run accident involving the singer.
Recall that a lady had accused Timaya of knocking her down with his car, causing her severe injuries, after she confronted him for bashing her car.
The “plantain boy” crooner however explained his side of the story and issued an apology to the lady and her family.
Reacting to the apology, Ubi accused Timaya of not caring about the lady’s situation as he failed to reach out to the victim’s family after the incident.

“Dear Timaya, as a senior man in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry, the first thing you would have done when you were accused was to apologize as you have just done and then call the victim’s family. Your live video the other day showed you cared less about the situation. Thank U,” he tweeted.
Responding to Ubi’s tweet, Timaya threatened to beat the blogger up as he had once done in January 2021.
“Ubi Franklin u remember the beating I gave u in January last year? Don’t let me beat u again, and pls I like your new JOB. As Ifeanyi’s NANI and pls don’t mess it up. DAvido is a good guy he can make ur life. Pls, focus on ur new JOB. Thanks,” he tweeted.
