Former Aviation Minister, and a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Part, (PDP) Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has denied reports that he has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Fani-Kayode reacting to the statement by the Governor of Kogi state, Governor Yahaya Bello on Wednesday said he has not left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and that he was committed to opposing the APC.
He tweeted, “Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP.”
The Governor of Kogi state, Governor Yahaya Bello on Wednesday had said Fani-Kayode, had joined the APC saying: Our brother and friend has joined our party in good faith.

Bello went on to say that Fani-Kayode joined the APC to come and add his own positive energy and make contribution into ensuring that PDP is a party to beat.
He said Fani-Kayode who was a founding member of the party and left due to misunderstanding, approached him that he would like to join the party.
Fani-Kayode further said that he is committed to opposing the APC and those that are in their ranks for the rest of his natural life and will never join them no matter what!
Fani-Kayode said: “The suggestion that I joined the APC is false and insulting. Those that are peddling this fake news should bury their heads in shame. With what we have witnessed I would rather die than join a filthy, rat-infested sinking ship like the Almajiri Peoples Congress (APC).
“Those that claim that I have joined them and seek to link my good name to such a bloodthirsty, blood-lusting, accursed political association of Boko Haramists, Fulani herdsmen, genocidal maniacs, ethnic cleansers, mass murderers, ethnic supremacists, religious bigots, cow-lovers and corrupt treasury looters that have brought nothing but death, division, misery, poverty, incompetence, shame and destruction to our nation and our people will burn in hell forever!
“I am committed to opposing the APC and those that are in their ranks for the rest of my natural life and I will never join them no matter what! They are nothing but darkness whilst I stand for the light of God and truth. There can be no fellowship between light and darkness.”
