Former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori, has kicked against the allegations raised against him by Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio, connecting him to a contract rig in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
In response to Akpabio, the former Governor said he never lobbied for any contract from NCDC nor was he awarded nor did he execute any project for not just the NDDC but for any government agency.
Ibori has categorically countered him as one of the beneficiaries of the scam contract in NCDC.
But Ibori through his media advisor, Mr Tony Eluemunor, advised Akpabio to “take things slow and calm down”, to focus on his primary duties rather than throw blames at him.
