Ibadan cancels curfew

There will be no more 10 to 4 curfew in Oyo state. This was announced by Mr Taiwo Adisa, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Seyi Makinde.
The 10 pm to 4 am curfews were imposed on the state at the height of the pandemic in the country, and after a number of reviews, it has been cancelled.
However, this cancellation comes with some conditions, as night club owners were urged not to allow people to gather in tight and closed areas. Residents were also enjoined to keep up with the Own Your Action initiative of the state’s COVID-19 Task Force so that the COVID-19 curve will be completely flattened.
In view of this, Gov Makinde has approved that isolation centres, except the one at Olodo, Ibadan, should be decontaminated and converted to Level 3 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC).
