The present Economic Recovery and Growth (ERG) Plan that has been in use from 2017 would come to its completion by the end of this year. And Clem Agba, the Minister of Budget and National Planning has revealed that the new economic plan would be made known in December 2020.
The new ERG would include two Medium-Term National Development Plans that would serve the country from 2021 to 2025 and 2026 to 2030. The ERG is keeping in line with the government’s vision to bring the country out of recession and put it among the top 20 economies. This new plan would also assist in preparing the 2021 budget.
It is also hoped that all, including, youth, women, political parties, and organisations, would cooperate with the plan.
