Igboho/Kanu: Fani-Kayode’s defection to APC makes me suspicious – Reno Omokri

Tobi Adebayo
A former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has berated former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode over his defection to the All Progressives Party.

The Presidency on Thursday announced Fani-Kayode’s defection on Facebook and shared photos of his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Reacting to the announcement, Omokri insinuated that the former Minister may have betrayed the leaders of secessionist groups, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu.

Both Kanu and Igboho had met with Fani-Kayode on separate occasions while championing their respective causes.

Reno wrote on Instagram “You say you are a friend of Sunday Igboho. You called him your brother. You called Nnamdi Kanu your “friend and brother” and one of the most courageous persons you know. You see what this demon in human flesh is doing to these freedom fighters, yet you do this?

“It makes me suspicious. How can these two people who were close to you and who confided in you, end up in Buhari’s trap and then you join his party? This looks like 30 pieces of silver! At this point, I would very much hate to be your friend and brother.

“Politics without shame is the bane of Nigeria. This is why I urge those who love Nigeria to also love business. When you have independent sources of money, you will never call a cow your brother because you want to eat meat.

“How can you know that a person is an inveterate and incurable nepotistic tribalist, and you have said so yourself, then you kowtow to him? Buhari is the worst thing to happen to Nigeria, and APC is a gathering of all that is wrong in Nigeria.

“May I never be in a situation where I will have to return to my vomit because my stomach is empty. God, I beg you. I beg you. In Christ’s Name!.”
