A lecturer in the Imo State University (IMSU), Dr Desmond Izunwanne has come under fire for slapping a pregnant student during class.
In a viral video shared online, Izunwanne could be seen slapping the student multiple times on her cheeks
According to eyewitnesses, the student, who reportedly told Dr Desmond about her ill-health, was asked to kneel down despite her condition.
It was alleged that the incident was not the lecturer’s first time of assaulting students, bragging that the school authorities cannot question him.
Concerned Nigerians have since flooded his Facebook page, calling him out and urging the school management to deal with the situation.
