Joeboy preaches against domestic violence

Singer, Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, aka Joeboy, has evangelised against domestic violence targeted at women.

The popular singer revealed that the idea was the inspiration behind his hit song ‘Better’ stating that sometimes women are not treated “properly” in African society.

Joeboy preached that African women, most especially deserve better than the treatment they get from the male figures in their lives.

He called on men to protect women who are badly treated, not minding what they stand to gain or lose.

Joeboy said, “It’s something that happens a lot in African society; domestic abuse. Sometimes women are maltreated and not treated properly. I wanted to shed light on domestic violence against women.”
