The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu says he has informed President Muhamamdu Buhari of his intention to run for President in 2023.
Tinubu made this known after a closed-door meeting with the President in Aso Villa on Monday.
Speaking after the meeting with Buhari, the APC chieftain said “I have informed the President of my ambition but I have not informed Nigerians yet.
Tinubu stated further that he was still making consultations.

When asked for the president’s response to his intention, Tinubu said that Buhari did not stop him from running for the office of the president.
