Former Senator Buruji Kashamu is dead.
Senator Ben Bruce confirmed this in a tweet, “I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos.”
Kashamu is not the first politician to die of COVID-19 complications. He joins former Ogun state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi and former presidential aide, Abba Kyari.
