Lagos Attorney General, Lawal Pedro Kicks-off the PBAT Unity Cup; Lagos thrash Oyo 3:0

In a sunny bright afternoon that surrounds the busy vicinity of Lagos Island, youths from Lagos State and their counterparts from Oyo State gathered to celebrate the 1st anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR in office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Amongst the dignitaries present were the APC, Lagos State Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi who was represented by the Assistant Youth Leader, Lagos State, Hon. Vincent Adukwu, Hon. Lawal Pedro, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Lagos State; Prof. Lawanle Morounkola,the Director General and CEO of Nigeria Institutes of Sports, the Council Chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA, Hon. Muibi Alade Folawiyo who was represented by the Special Assistant on Sports, Hon. Hammed Kadiku, amongst several others.
The event put together by the Progressive Youth Ambassadors, led by Amb. Kayode David is billed to happen across the country with states playing each other on knock out basis.

The Kick off was done by the Lagos State Attorney General, Mr. Lawal Pedro SAN and got the blessings of all for a successful outing.
In the spirit of love and unity, the game was played to promote the good works of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last one year in office.
The Lagos was able to show seniority over the Oyo counterpart by scoring three goals.
On the Lagos side, the goals were scored by
Daniel Joda, Richard Sodje and Samuel Sulaimon while Oyo team could not find the back of the net.
Next match is billed to hold in FUTA Stadium Akure on Tuesday, May 28th 2024, where team Ondo will be hosting team Ogun.
