There is tension in some polling Units in different parts of Cross River including the state Capital , Calabar and Obudu where the governor , Prof. Ben Ayade comes from as voters who have been unable to vote as at 12:50 pm .

This Nigeria gathered that at LEMNA axis in Calabar Municipality BVAS is malfunctioning at polling unit19 in ward 9 even after noon same with Eziekiel by Atamunu Ward 12 in Calabar south no voting because of BVAS malfunctioning.

Findings also showed that voting was yet to commence in central Obudu as Gov. Ayade was yet to cast his vote at kakum ward.
