Late arrival of polling official at 009 NAGIS, Mararaba in Karu local government area of Nasarawa State caused a stir.
The INEC adhoc polling officials arrived the polling unit at exactly 10:47 am.
Before their arrival, anger, frustration and despair was reigning supreme at the polling unit as voters were redirected from their original polling unit to the newly created polling units.
The newly created polling units in the area was aimed at decongesting the voting areas.

Voters who were visibly angry and frustrated, openly voice their misgivings about the unfortunate development.
Mr. Anthony Bright, a voter, told ThisNigeria that there is a ground plan to disenfranchise voters in the area as is always the tradition.
He recalled that in the previous election, the votes in the area was cancelled because of similar circumstances.
He noted that there is often late arrival of polling officials at the polling unit because the bulk of voters are non indigenes.
“Yesterday, they locked up the gate of this place so that voters would not gain access to check their names, which was pasted on the wall for people to check. If they don’t have ulterior motive, why lock up the facility,” he queried.
However, the arrival of the polling officials restored hope to voters who immediately formed queue, waiting to be accredited before voting.
A new list was also pasted on the wall for voters to revalidate their name on the voting register.
