Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has banned street trading in Abuja and its environs.
Wike issued the directive on Tuesday.
He noted that street trading was contributing to the rising level of insecurity in the nation’s capital.
The Minister also directed the FCTA and FCDA to ensure that all streetlights in the nation’s capital are functional.
