Naira Crisis: Nine states joins suit against FG

Nine more states on Wednesday joined in the suit filed against the federal government on the naira policy crisis bedeviling the country.

The supreme court joined nine states in a nine -member panel led by Justice Okoro, joined  the attorney general of Katsina, Lagos, Ondo, Ogun, Ekiti, Cross River and Sokoto states as co-plaintiffs.

Although, the Attorneys Generals of Edo and Bayelsa states were joined as co-respondents.

The court ordered the Attorney General of the Federation(AGF0),Abubakar Malami to amend the process to reflect the new parties.

However, the Court adjourned the hearing of the consolidated  suit till Wednesday, February 22 2023.
