Netizens fume as Bisi Alimi visits former Sec school, receive cheers from pupil

Some Nigerians have frowned at the visit of Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi to his former Secondary School, Eko Boys High School, Lagos.

In a now-viral video, Alimi was seen receiving cheers from pupils of the school as he paid a courtesy visit.

Alimi, who was in the company of some other men was giving “high five” to the pupils who welcomed him warmly.

However, the video has caused a stir online as netizens condemned the authority of the school for allowing him to have access to the pupils.

Some of the social media users wondered the essence of Alimi’s visit and in what capacity he was at the school.

Akinsola Akinbode wrote, “The principal or headmaster of the school should be summoned immediately for questioning in regards to what capacity he hosted that “thing”” (sic)

“I wonder how we celebrate people like this even when the constitution doesn’t support LGQBT,” Fredleck Lakers said.

Isiugo Chigozie Prosper cursed the principal of the school saying, “Na God go punish the principal of that school.”

“You see why I prefer private school, cos they would have thought of the consequences this would cost them. Just imagine them allowing the innocent kids embrace him openly, he has business with the school not with the kids,” Victory Eme Vicky wrote.

“So he went to the school as what exactly, introduced as who, honestly our institutions are weak. Arrant nonsense,” Seyi Onagoruwa inquired.

Attah Abdul said, “The head teacher or principal of that school has compromised… The head teach/Teacher must be relieved of his duties immediately. This is very destructive to our younger population. Sack that principal now!”

Egejuru Harrison Chibueze wrote, “I hope he doesn’t end up influencing most of those young lads, because teachers can be funny at times. How is this supposed to be a headline on the media?”
