NEWHOPE Naija/Henry 707 Sport Scouting Championship set to shake Lagos

The maiden edition of the NEWHOPE/Henry 707 Sports Limited, is set to light up Lagos in a three-day world class scouting championship, holding next week.
The world class football scouting programme put together by NEWHOPE Naija FC, in conjunction with Henry 707 Sport Limited, will not only expose and give young gifted players a platform to showcase their talents, but will also make them better persons in the society and country at large.
The three day football fiesta, which is ably coordinated by one of Nigeria’s most experienced FIFA CIES Alumni and football consultant, James Adebayo and Henry 707, holds from 27th to 29th April, at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
Speaking ahead of scouting championship, James Adebayo, noted that with the quality of club directors and football scouts coming from different parts Europe and other parts of the world for the scouting championship he expects the participating teams to live up to expectations.
“Twelve teams will be participating in this programme, and before we picked the teams, we went round to see their set up and structure. We made sure the teams have very young players that are suitable for this programme, With what I saw from the teams and players, I am totally convinced, we will have a programme, that will live in our memories for a long time”, James said.
“We have club, vice presidents, football directors, scouts coming from various parts of Europe and other parts of the world to Lagos for this epic event, so without any iota of doubts, this programme will produce future stars”, Adebayo added.
Meanwhile, the participating teams have been drawn into different groups with winners of each group qualifying for the semi finals and battle for a place in the finals.
Winners of the scouting championship, will go home, with a cash prize of five hundred thousand naira, (N500, 000), plus a giant trophy, while the second placed team, will get a cash reward of Two hundred thousand naira only, (N200, 000), the Most Valuable Player and Best Goalkeeper Award winners will smile home with cash prizes of Fifty thousand naira each, (N50, 000).
